Bike mechanic course

MECHANIC LEVEL 1

During practice where the participant works on his own bike

  • Operation of bearings: disassemble and adjust the bottom bracket, steering and the rear hub
  • Installing a chain
  • Adjusting brakes and gear systems
  • Lubrication and installation of cables and ducts
  • Alignment of a wheel
  • Use of specific tools bike participant

Prerequisite: Neophyte or manual dexterity
Duration: 14 hours (the classes will be 4 Monday nights 17:30-21h)

MECHANIC LEVEL 2

 

  • Practical course where participants will be able to perform the most common repairs.
  • Executing an estimation of the focus.
  • Installation of a complete brake system.
  • Installing a complete transmission system
  • Wheel alignment and rays change
  • Problems and compatibility between components
  • Adjustment of bearings
  • Other minor kinds deréparations

Prerequisite: Mechanic Level 1
Duration: 14 hours (the classes will be 4 Monday nights 17:30-21h)
