8:30am: payments, rental equipment distribution, camper-bikes evaluation.
9:00am: first group meeting, explanations of camp policies and rules.
9:30am: verbal evaluation of each camper and dissimulation into preliminary groups.
10:00am-12:00pm: rolling evaluation on flat terrain with multiple cone drills.
12:30pm: Lunch 13:15pm: first lift for groups 2-2.5-3-3.5-4-5. Groups 1-1.5 remain on the flats repeating drills. Other groups on easy terrain even for expert riders).
2:30pm: ride break.
3:00pm: last ride.
4:00pm: return to camp.
9:00am, camp arrival. 9:30am, return to preliminary groups. 10:00am-groups 2-2.5-3-3.5-4-5 head to the lifts. Groups 1-1.5 continue with basics on easy terrain (C1-C2 trails). Tuesday morning is a series of drills dedicated to positioning, braking control and preparation for obstacles, drops and jumps. 11:00am: Return to camp for group level adjustments and break. 12:30 Lunch. 13:15pm. Groups 1-1.5-2-2.5-3-3.5 water parc. Groups 4-5 head back to lifts. Groups 1-1.5 may take their first lift depending on skill achievement. 2:30pm, ride break. 3:00pm, last ride. 4:00pm, return to camp. Tuesday afternoon is mostly a milage session, finding flow and trying to use what was learned in the morning
9:00am, camp arrival. 9:30am, to groups. 10:00am-groups 1-1.5-2-2.5-3-3.5-4-5 head to the lifts. Generally Wednesday morning is devoted to a series of skill clinics and demonstrations in steeper settings with more technical challenges. 13:15pm. Groups 1-1.5-2-2.5-3-3.5 water parc. Groups 4-5 head back to lifts. Groups. 2:00pm, resume riding for water parc kids, 3:00pm, last ride. 4:00pm, return to camp. Wednesday afternoon is generally practicing the skills learned in the morning while thinking about any objectives kids have on the mountain that they could attempt on Thursday.
9:00am, camp arrival. 9:30am, to groups. 10:00am-groups 1-1.5-2-2.5-3-3.5-4-5 head to the lifts. ALL STAFF ON HIGH-ALERT FOR FATIGUE. Thursday morning is when we see if kids are tired or moody. This is where the staff watch for little mishaps as an indicator of accident potential. 13:15pm. If groups are ok, they resume their progression. If a group is tired or partially tired, they are sent to relax in the water parc. If kids are feeling good, they can proceed. All campers have the option of not attending water parc and getting in a big afternoon. 4:00pm, return to camp.
(By the time Friday rolls around, campers already know if they are too tired. It's easier to read campers on Friday). 9:00am, camp arrival. All groups have the option of attending water parc for the full day or the whole afternoon if they are fatigued and many of groups 1-1.5-2-2.5 do. 10:00am-groups that are not attending water park, (1-1.5-2-2.5-3-3.5-4-5) head to lifts. 13:15pm. All campers have the option of not riding Friday afternoon just like all campers have the option of not attending the waterpark. Staff remain on alert for fatigue but normally that is a Thursday problem. NOTE: Parents are welcome to ride with groups Friday afternoon. 4:00pm, return to camp.
